The SKLZ Territory Manager is responsible for establishing SKLZ as a loved and trusted brand for coaches, trainers, and athletes in the sports of baseball, softball, soccer, and in performance/fitness training.  You will own enabling the preparation of athletes in your market by providing the clubs, facilities, and the athletes themselves with the tools they need to be successful.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

Team Sales & Account Management

  • Identify and prioritize territory leads
  • Foster and grow current accounts
  • Develop strong book of business focused on soccer and baseball while exploring opportunities in football and basketball.

Fitness Distributor Sales

  • Foster and grow current accounts
  • Establish network of new distributors
  • Work with Regional Manager to fortify operational efficiencies to make this successful

New Business Development

  • Identify and relentlessly pursue all new direct selling revenue opportunities available to the company

Trade Show Activation

  • Attend regional and national trade shows
  • Network and generate leads

Data/Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report sales data weekly
  • Utilize CRM for lead, customer, and communication tracking
  • Report consumer feedback to HQ monthly

Qualifications and Skills

  • Four-year college degree
  • 2 years sales experience within sporting goods or consumer goods industry
  • Prefer specialty or team sales experience
  • Detailed knowledge of and/or personal experience in team sports and performance training (warm-up, recover, speed, strength, and agility training)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel ~20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in distributor management
  • Currently networked with teams/coaches
  • Participant in sports at collegiate or professional level
  • Experience in proper usage of CRM software
