Primary Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibility:

Responsible for establishing and driving the global marketing plan for the SKLZ and Sport Brella brands.   The Global Sr. Director of Marketing will report to the CEO and be a member of the company’s executive team and key voice in all strategic planning, operating plans, and functional plans.   Candidate must have the ability to create and develop a marketing plan, lead the internal and external marketing team and execute the plan through digital, social, event, sponsorship and traditional media channels.  

 

Key Functions:

  • Act as the Brand Chief for the SKLZ brand. Evolve Brand positioning and create awareness and desire.
  • Work with Category Leaders to define and leverage our Consumer Targets throughout all marketing content and activations
  • Help lead the “Go to Market” strategy in partnership with the product and sales leaders
  • Develop and Lead integrated programs for all Key Product Launch
  • Create and execute the brand strategy and the annual marketing plan.  Provide monthly updates, revisions and modifications to the plan.
  • Develop and Lead all retail marketing for digital and brick&mortar partners.
  • Lead the internal marketing team and manage all key external marketing partners
  • Lead the Consumer Services team and effectively integrate feedback to Leadership Team
  • Sourcing market and brand data to direct resource deployment and measure performance
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure that the brand strategy and marketing plan support the company’s overall goals and objectives

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Broad market knowledge and experience in the consumer products industry (sports industry preferred)
  • Proficient at creating and managing operating budgets
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills with ability to see, understand and sort out complex multi-variable problems with clear, irrevocable logic
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Successful experience managing brands, projects and teams
  • 8+ years professional brand building experience
  • A team player with a “can do” attitude. Ready and willing to help wherever needed
