The Human Resources Generalists is responsible for supporting company goals and initiatives through a strong and innovative people strategy.  This role is accountable for the day-to-day Human Resources functions and the implementation and administration of Human Resources strategy, programs and policies to support the Company’s vision to achieve a high performing team environment. This position will be reporting into the Director of Human Resources

Responsibilities:

  • Lead positive team member relations and engagement initiatives to meet business needs and appropriately address team member concerns and wellbeing, while creating a high-performance culture.  Act as an objective sounding board for team member concerns.
  • Manage and administer the performance appraisal process in accordance with company objectives.
  • Maintain in-depth and up to date knowledge of state and federal legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Assess training needs across departments and work with management to develop and facilitate training programs.
  • Deliver and implement benefits and wellness strategies that are aligned with the business goals and overall competitive industry practices.
  • Responsible for sustaining competitive compensation and recognition programs against best practices for the industry and market based on geography and company size.
  • Responsible for managing the administration budget and reporting monthly on status and scorecard.
  • Establishes credibility throughout the organization by being an effective listener and problem solver.
  • Provides strategic direction of the company Human Resources programs including workforce planning, recruitment/retention, onboarding/orientation and associated technology.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Human Resources certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years progressive Human Resources experience; including payroll and benefits administration.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to partner with managers and Senior Leadership
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • MUST - Knowledge of ADP Workforce Systems 

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work.
